Mani Rimdu festival is praised at Tengboche, Thame and Chiwong Monasteries in Solukhumbu, Nepal. This has a consecrated function and is an occasion of strengthening. It is a 9 days’ festivity, which finishes up with three days of open celebration. Sherpas spend time to accumulate merits and commend this celebration with devoted network. Lamas and Sherpa gather in the cloister for five days, for the welfare of the world. Evil spirits are controlled and the prudents are remunerated. The fundamental first long stage of celebration includes blessings.
On the second day lamas wear brilliant brocade outfit, and magnificently painted papier-mâché masks. The priests wear expound veil ensembles. Through a formal arrangement Lamas move, perform the triumph of Buddhism over Bon. The dances are interrupted by some comical moments and reciting supplications. Hundreds of neighbourhood people and outside visitors come to the festival. This trek rewards you to see the genuine and perfect culture of Sherpas and incredible Himalayan beautiful perspectives.
