Mount Himlung Himal is located at an ambitious height of 7,126 meters on the northeast of Annapurna range. This mountain is located in a secret area of Nepal, bordering Tibet. This is a unlike mountain; Himlung mountain is not so technical, it is very easy to ascent if given chance by weather. The journey to Himlung revolves around Annapurna Koto and to Naar-Phu village in Manang district. The track from Narphu village has been recently opened, and this track offers high peaks and passes to nearby glaciers, waterfalls and remote villages, with breathtaking views of Api Himal, Ratna Chuli, Nanda Devi and more.

The Himlung Himal base camp is at an altitude of 4900 meters. There are three high camps located at an altitude of 5,450 meters, 6,000 meters and 6,350 meters respectively. The end of the peak consists of steep and muddy slopes. It usually takes ten to fifteen days to return to the base camp after conquering Himlung Peak. For the first time a Japanese team climbed and opened it to the public in 1992. So far only a few teams have managed to reach the top. One team was from Japan and the rest from other countries. Even though it is easier than other peaks, you need a high fitness level to reach Himlung Peak. Himlung Himal is an excellent peak with an excellent exploration trek in solitude for you.
