Lumbini, the peaceful city located in Rupandehi district in Nepal, is the birthplace of Lord Gautama Buddha, founder of Buddhism. This city is the most important pilgrimage destination for all schools of Buddhism all around the world. The Boudha was enlightened where he was born as Prince Siddhartha Gautam in 563 B.C., as the son of Suddhodhan King of Kapilvastu and Queen Maya Devi. According to the Buddhist literary sources, on the day of Baisakh Purnima, Maya Devi while on her way to her maternal home, took a bath in Puskarini (a pond in the garden of the palace) and immediately felt the onset of her labor pain. She grabbed the branch of big shady tree nearby as supporting and gave birth to a beautiful baby prince. The new born prince took seven steps in the holy soil; under each step a lotus flower bloomed immediately. Lumbini garden, where Maya Devi gave birth to Gautam Buddha, remained neglected for a long time, but now it has been beautifully maintained, and the region is now listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

One of the earliest pilgrims to the region was Emperor Asoka. He came to the holy site in 249 B.C., and erected a stone pillar as an evidence of his visit to the region. The pillar has an inscription, clearly indicating the Lord Gautama Buddha was born in Lumbini, and it was an evidence that the Buddha belongs to the Nepali soil. The ancient pillar was discovered much later in the 19th century, and that helped the archaeologists to uncover many other historic ruins the area. Also the inscription top of the Asoka Pillar “Om Mani Padme Hum” is a proof that King Ripu Malla visited the site in 1312 A.D.

Day 01: - Arrival at Kathmandu

Arrival at Kathmandu airport; we pick you up to the hotel, and we brief you about the tour: itinerary day after day and activities. O/N Hotel with BB (1350m)

Day 02: - Departure to Lumbini

Departure to Lumbini, which was the birth place of Buddha. We catch the domestic flight from Kathmandu, fly for 45mn, and after lunch we visit the heritage site of Lumbini. Overnight Hotel with BB/D (650M)

Day 03: - Exploring to visit Lumbini

We will explore the Budhist monastery which was attributed all the events of Buddha's life. Overnight in the same hotel with BB/D/L

Day 04: - back to Sauraha by our private Vehicle

Back to Sauraha in our private vehicle, and to National Chitwan park. 6hr drive to Sauraha / Chitwan National park from Lumbini. On early night we propose to show you the Tharu dance, an ethnic group who leaves in Nepalese Terai. overnight Hotel with BB (550m)

Day 05: - Exploring and Visit National Chitwan

Exploring day: we ride and visit Jungle Safari to watch wild animals and birds, boarding on the small river, and elephant rides. Back to your hotel. Overnight in the same Hotel with BB/D/L

Day 06: - Drive to Pokhara in private Vehicle

Drive to Pokhara from Chitwan Sauraha; 5/hrs drive to Pokhara, Pokhara lies in central Nepal. Overnight Hotel with BB, (850m

Day 07: - Sightseeing Pokhara City

Sightseeing in Pokhara valley: Hemja Tibetan camp Buddhist Monastery, and Peace Stupa by boarding on Phewa lake, following Baarahi Temple which lies between Phewa Lake In Pokhara; and 1hr climbing for beautiful views from this stupa, situated on a hill top for visiting and praying. We descend for 30 minutes and catch board again, Overnight in the same hotel with BB/D

Day 08: - Back with our private vehicle 6/hr to drive

Back to Kathmandu by road in our private vehicle, 6hr drive to Kathmandu. This day we are back along the Marsyangdi and Trisuli rivers, which flow from the 8000m mountains. Overnight in the same hotel with BB

Day 09: - Visit Kathmandu Valley-Mountain Flight and Sightseeing

On this day at about 5/6 am, a one hour mountain flight towards Everest, and back to the same hotel for breakfast.
Departure for a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley, visiting Bhaktapur city, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath temple, and Swayambhunath. overnight in the same hotel with BB

Day 10: - Departure to International Airport

Final Departure to the International airport in our private vehicle.
