Ama Dablam is known as a Matterhorn Mountain. This Mountain is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, located in the mountain ranges of eastern Nepal. Ama Dablam characterizes itself with a unique pyramidal shape. With its hanging glacier seen in its southwestern part, this mountain is similar to the sacred jewelry belt used by Sherpa women called Dablam, hence its name Ama Dablam. This mountain is not only impressive by its height but also by its beauty. Mount Ama Dablam is located in Khumbu region of Nepal, in the south of Mount Everest. As you ascend to the summit, you can see some breathtaking views.

The ascent of Ama Dablam will generally be done from the south-west rock. Climbers who reached the summit for the first time in 1961 followed the same path. Typically, climbers set up three camps just below and right of the hanging glacier “Dablam”. Hiking to Camp one is normal, but the challenge starts from Camp 1 to Camp 2 as it becomes more technical on the narrow edges of the rock made of granite. These challenges extend from Camp 2 to Camp 3. And some risks of avalanches cannot be avoided, but it is said that Disneyland is an adventure without risks. You have to be trained in rock and ice climbing skills, and get used to high altitudes, before thinking of climbing Ama Dablam.
