This peak (6189m) is located in Everest region, next to the Chukung glacier, between Ama Dablam, Makalu and Lhotse Mountains.

Island Peak is the most sought trekking destination because of its challenging geographical conditions. Each year more than 400 groups attempt to scale its summit. This trip offers an excellent opportunity to climb an Himalayan Summit (6189m) together with an exhilarating trek to the Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar for who have time. The most difficult section is made of a mixed rock and ice wall, at a slope of around 45 degrees leading to a narrow summit ridge. The magnificent views from the summit certainlyare a reward for your efforts. Island Peak.
