Himalayan Randonner is a reliable and responsible government registered trekking company in Nepal committed to offer best possible services to our customers and guests. With the objective of making the cultural and natural diversities of Nepal known to the world and making tourism in Nepal better, we work along the line of providing services that meets the demand and satisfaction of our customers whom we consider guests rather than only as clients. We prioritize your enjoyment and satisfaction.
Before you book a trip with us, we suggest you to go through our terms and conditions carefully.

General Booking Conditions

  • For Nepal and Bhutan Tours: You need to provide us a photocopy of your passport and 20% of trip cost as deposit while booking your trip with us. This deposit amount is non-refundable.
  • For Tibet Tours: You need to provide us a photocopy of your passport and 50% of trip cost as deposit while booking your trip with us. This deposit amount is non-refundable.
  • The remaining amount could be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu before setting off to the trek. In case of Bhutan and Tibet tours, however, you need to pay the balance amount 20 days prior to your departure date if you intend to fly to those countries directly. In case of failure to make your payment within our stipulated time, we reserve our right to cancel your trip.

If you prefer payment through credit card, please download, print and complete the PDF form and mail it as an attachment to info@himalayanrandonner.com with the photocopies of your passport and credit card (both sides)
For credit card payments, 3.5% extra will be levied as a credit card processing fee.

  • Risk and Liabilities
    All the Nepal, China and Bhutan tours are conducted under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of the respective country. We are not liable for any change or cancellation of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like change in rules and regulations of country, government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, breakdown of vehicle, etc. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall be borne by the clients themselves. Therefore, travel insurance is highly recommended.

Last Minute Booking
We also accept last minute booking. You can book a trip to Nepal seven days prior to the trip departure dates, however, in such cases, you will have to make full payment at the time of booking.
NOTE: Last minute booking is not acceptable for Bhutan and Tibet tours.
Postpone the Trip
For postponing your trip, the following measures should be taken:

  • A written notice should be sent to us 30 days prior to the trip departure date.
  • In case of postponing Nepal tour, minimum USD 150 will be charged as a current trip cancellation charge and the remaining amount will be transferred for the postponed trip.
  • In case of postponing Tibet and Bhutan Tour, trip cancellation charge will be charged as per the trending market rate of those countries. It solely depends upon the ongoing policy of our agents in Tibet and Bhutan. For now, 20 % of trip cost and 50 % of trip cost will be charged in case of postpone of Bhutan and Tibet trip respectively.

Trip Cancellation (Nepal)
In case of cancellation of your trip to Nepal for any reasons, you need to write it to us 14 days prior the trip departure date. We shall approve the cancellation only after receiving a valid written notice from the client. If your reason for cancellation is genuine such as injury or serious illness, you can postpone your trip or transfer your booking to another person meeting all the requirements of the trip. However, a fee of USD 150 per person will be charged if you postpone or transfer your trip within 15 days prior to your trip date. As per our policy, the deposit amount is non-refundable, therefore, you can utilize the amount to book a trip with us the next time.

Trip Cancellation (Bhutan)
A valid written notice for cancellation of the trip should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case of cancelling your Bhutan tour, 20% of the trip costs will be charged as cancellation fee (even in case of postponing or transferring the trip to another person). The remaining amount will remain secured with Himalayan Randonner as a deposit from you which you can utilize to book a tour with us another time. The amount is non-refundable.

Trip Cancellation (Tibet)
A valid written notice for cancellation of the trip should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case of cancelling your Bhutan tour, 50% of the trip costs will be charged as cancellation fee (even in case of postponing or transferring the trip to another person). The remaining amount will remain secured with Himalayan Randonner as a deposit from you which you can utilize to book a tour with us another time. The amount is non-refundable.

Incomplete Tour
In case of any incomplete tour, trek or expedition, we are not liable for any refunds whatever the reason is.

Unforeseen Circumstances
In case of cancellation of the trip under any unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, war or unfavorable climatic conditions, we will arrange another trip for you. So, even if you cannot get the trip that you chose, your money shall not be wasted.

Price Changing
We reserve our rights to change the price under various circumstances though our action will be reasonable such as in case of some circumstances like drastic change in exchange rate, inflation, government actions, etc. In such cases, we are not liable to answer to anyone for our action.

Travel Insurance
We highly recommend you have a comprehensive travel insurance package before you book a trip with us. Your insurance must cover all the medical expenses, personal accident, emergency evacuation and trip cancellation, loss of gears and natural calamity, theft or damage to baggage and person effects, etc.

Flight Delay/Cancellation
Since flight delays and cancellation are quite frequent during the bad weather conditions in the Himalayan region particularly in Everest Region, Annapurna Region, Dolpo, Simikot and Jumla region, we advise you to carry some extra money for buying food and accommodation for such cases. Himalayan Ran will not be responsible for any of the additional expenses which is why we suggest you to plan accordingly.

Your Personal Belongings
We are not liable for any damage or loss of your luggage or property. They are at your own risk.

During the Tour
In case you commit any unlawful act during your tour and are compelled to leave Nepal, Himalayan Randonner will not be liable for any kind of refund.

Warning
Our terms and conditions are applicable only in case of booking your trip with us directly and if you book your trip with us through any agents or third party, you shall be liable to their terms and conditions.
