The first successful Manaslu was held in 1956 by Imanishi from Japan and Galgen Norbu Sherpa from Nepal.
There are at least six routes to Manaslu summit. These routes have some technical sections and with its diverse surroundings, the Manaslu campaign offers an unforgettable experience.
Mount Manaslu is a great choice, if you are considering an accessible eight-thousand climb. Height is important, but not as scary as Kanchenjunga or Mount Everest. Considering the success of Manaslu Mountain, you have a good chance to reach the top.

The Manaslu Climbing takes 7 weeks, including a scenic trek 4,400-meter up to Manaslu base camp. The trekking route is relatively untouched. Compared to peaks such as Cho Oyu (8,188 m), or Shisapangma (8,027 m), Manaslu climbing is equally challenging in terms of technical conditions. This is a good climb before attempting a serious technical 8,000 meter hill. Manaslu climbing is technical and challenging, as the case with Cho Oyu (8,188 m) and Shisapangma (8,027 m), and you have to be seriously technical 8,000m before climbing.
Predicted travel time is 48 days. Starting from Kathmandu, we will hold campaign briefings for the team members, complete the necessary paperwork and preparations. Then, we drive to Arughat Bazaar-Liding Village, from where the first trek of the expedition begins. Hiking offers great experiences and allows mountaineers to admire the beautiful, scenic landscapes of Nepal. The trail follows the Budhigandaki river. On day 9/10, the climbing team arrives at Sama village, an attractive village of farmers and traders. There is also a Buddhist monastery; before going to Manaslu base camp.
We plan the ascent period for about 28 days. On climbing days, you can expect a sequence of plateaus and medium slopes on the way to the vertical crest. We assure you, the view from the top is worth all the effort!
The landing route is slightly different. In this way climbers can recognize a large part of the area around Mount Manaslu. What’s more, different routes help keeping the team curious and high spirits up. Climbers go through Khursanibari, Jagat or Salleri, Dang and Namrung. On the lower route, through Ghap and Machhakhola to Kathmandu,
