This is a newly opened region by Nepal government for trekkers. So it has still its own natural extraordinary beauties. Every trekker can have the maximum satisfaction of nature’s paradise here. Gurung, Tibetan diverse cultures and traditions make the tour fascinating and ever memorable. This trek initiates from Gorkha also along with Larke pass (5106 m.) and prorogues finally at Dharapani after 14 days. Trekking around Manaslu rewards you an excellent opportunity to experience the exceptionally unvisited region of Nepal. Manaslu trekking has been opened for travelers since 1991 and it provides spectacular beauties along the border of Nepal and Tibet. Organized trekking in groups and special permits are required to gain entry into this region.
Manaslu trekking area has unique ambiences, which is dastardly rich in biodiversity. That has made this region one of the finest tourist destinations of Nepal for the eco-tourism. The majestic Himalayan ranges in this area, associated to its cultural diversity and natural scenery, with high altitude’s attractive glaciers and lakes, fascinating flora and fauna, are all the valuable natural assets of this region.

Day 01. Arrival at Kathmandu - International Airport, 30 minutes drive, Elevation: 1350m,

We pick up you at the airport to your hotel. O/N Hotel with B&B

Day 02.1. Kathmandu to Arughat- Soti Khola - 136.2km, 7/8hrs drive

Manaslu Circuit trip begins from Kathmandu. We can take a direct local bus at 6am, from Gongabu Bus Park, from Kathmandu to Arughat on Prithvi Highway via Malekhu, Dhading, towards Soti.
Although the road will be quite dusty and bumpy, will catch the best landscape views during the travel to Soti. and stops for a short break and meals during our journey. Soti Khola is on the edge of Budhi gandaki, O/N guest house,

Day 3.2. Soti to Machhakhola - 5/6hrs walk, 900m,

Today we start trekking unlike other trekking trails, the road from Soti Khola to Machha Khola is quite rocky and narrow.
Despite the uneven road it will be an amazing walk on the first day of this trek. The stunning countryside views will keep you engaged throughout the trail. We will pass through oak forests where you can take short rests during the tiring walks. Following the forest trails with many rivers, waterfalls, towering cliffs you will encounter a few Gurung and Ghale inhabitants of the region.
In the dispersed settlements you can get to enjoy local milk, yoghurt, Dal Bhat with seasonal vegetables and typical pickles.
reach Nyauli river you will notice a large waterfall at a rocky edge of the hill. Standing there, locals and trekkers pray to the local deities, river, and mountains to keep them safe throughout the trail.
Following the trail we have to climb several ascents and descents across the winding road. On this day, you will encounter hundreds of mules on the route. So you must be careful as you see them approaching you. You need to stand on the wall side of the road to prevent from slipping down the hillside.
With such experiences we will reach Machha Khola, there are many teahouses for a comfortable night. O/N guest house,

Day 4.3. Machhakhola to Jagat - 5/6hrs walk, 1450m,

Trek to Jagat village: We cross Chyarbu river towards lower Khurlabesi. Notice the shepherds clad in a typical smoke-browned cape called Bokkhu. Walking further we will reach Tatopani atnd its hot spring, where you can take warm showers and relax your soaring body. After hot water relaxation, you will cross a new suspension bridge over Budi Gandaki river to reach Doban. After a landslip and Yaruphant we cross a wooden bridge to the left of the Budi Gandaki and avoid a torturous 3-hour climb up Gurung village trails. Following the waves we can find the river flattening at Yaru from where you cross a long cantilever bridge to reach Jagat, a neatly flag stoned Gurung village. On entering the village, you will have to verify your trekking permits at the check post. From there we will enter a restricted region. O/N Guest house

Day 5.4. Jagat to Deng - 6/7hrs walk, 2000m,

Trek to Deng, through Salleri and a light descent to Sirdibas. The village welcomes you with several gompas and Buddhist prayer flags. You can also try the local alcohol in many stopovers on the route before you reach Phillim. There is permits check point and then we will continue along the western bank of the river, with beautiful and unique sculptures over the boulders on the river bank. Leaving the river bank, you proceed through forests of rhododendron, Himalayan pine and the overhanging rocks on the towering peaks. Proceeding further we cross the Shyar Khola bridge and reach a junction where the trail separates to Tsum valley on the right. We walk towards Pewa and Deng, there are only three teahouses where they serve basic food and a night of cosy sleep. O/N guest house,

Day 6.5. Deng to Nambrung - 5/6hrs walk, 2630m,

Trek to Namrung: there is a check point to reentry the permits. From Deng we ascend the winding trails, we have to walk across the bamboo and slope valley to cross the Budi Gandaki. further there is a suspension bridge to climb to Rana and Bihi Phedi. On the trail sometimes you can see white faced monkeys (langurs) visiting villages on the lookout for a free feed. The trail proceeds to Ghap through several landslide zones. At this point you must be careful attentive to your guide’s instruction to maintain physical safety. We cross the bridge towards Namrung inside a sup-pine and rhododendron forest, then reach Namrung.

Day 7.6. Nambrung to Lho Village - 5/6hrs walk, 3180m,

You start the day exploring Nubri people area, their Tibet-influenced typical lifestyle. We walk along several mani walls, lush terraces and houses through Banjam to enter the slop rhododendron and oak ,before climbing to Lihi and Sho.
Progressively continuing you will see most of the locals clad in traditional Tibetan dress. Further you will notice some fine paintings in the Kani (gate arches) that you pass before Sho. Walking across the rocky hillside routes you can catch the stunning views of Manaslu (8163m) and Manaslu North (7157m). On this day, you will gain a quite high altitude, so you must walk slowly, O/N Guest house

Day 8.7. Lho to Sama Village - 4/5hrs walk, 3630m,

This day starts with a short trek because of the altitude. The picturesque view of Manaslu accompanies you. We walk across the easy trail to Shyala, passing through pine and rhododendron, gully with moss, and a clear stream. From Shyala we walk for almost an hour to reach Sama Gaun.
When you enter the village, mountain views fade, however, the yak pastures and typical settlements will attract you. Sama Gaun is the principal village of the Nubri people, which holds a large gompa, many shops, a health post, heliport and telephone/wifi access, O/N Guest house

Day 9.8. Sama village to Samdo - 4/5hrs walk, 3875m,

Trek through Birendra lake and cross lake towards Samdo. On this day we reach Samdo in high altitude, you need to walk slowly, so this is a short day trek. You will notice extended yak pastures up a broad valley with long mani walls, with a variety of birds. You leave the tree line and climb to a ridge across the wooden bridge of Budhi Gandaki before you reach Samdo, a very picturesque village dedicated to yak herding. In Samdo, you can explore Samdo village or you can hike to Samdo Peak You can also see the main track for Tibet over the Larjyang La, forming slopes on the Larkya La trail. O/N Guest House

Day 10. 9, Rest in Samdo village - Acclimatization day, 3/5hrs hiking

Rest at Samdo where you will go for a day trip to the 500m hiking to the ridge of north-south part of Samdo Glacier, huge serac near the top of the glacier and also frame Blue Sheep and Marmots in season. We will have to picnic,

Day 11. 10. Samdo to Dharamsala - 4:30hrs walk, 4400m,

This day is also an adventurous day in high altitude. So you must walk and watch your body signs properly. But you can enjoy the scenic views of the Himalayas and walk slowly across the rugged terrains, before you reach Dharmasala. O/N guest hous

Day 12,11, Dharamsala to Bhimtang - 7/9hrs walk, pass 5106m, 3590m,

This is a special day to do a struggle walk to the highest point of this trip, Larkya La Pass 5106m. With bad weather and snow the walk could be quite challenging and brings trouble to cross the pass. You have to walk slowly, keep the in same rythm and cross before afternoon, so you need to wake up and leave quite early morning. if you walk steadily you can cross the pass successfully.
Today stunning views are waiting for you, once you stand on the pass, which makes the trip more enlightened. You catch views of Himlung 7126m near Kang Guru 6981m and Annapurna Range. After the pass you descend for around 4 hours walk towards Bhimtang, and while descending you will get views of huge icefalls and mountains in all directions, and Pongkar Lake between Pongkar and Salpu Glaciers. Day 13.12, Bhingtang to Tilje Village - 5/6hrs walk, 2300m,

This is the final day we walk on the trails of Manaslu region. On climbing downhill, you will walk through the lush forests flora and fauna including rhododendron bushes.
We walk back across the Dudh Khola to Karche for lunch. During the next hours you will see many signs of glacial floods, with tree trunks smashed and banks undermined, the track becoming quite rough. And the trail drops you to Gurung villages.
The valley becomes more agricultural and lush as you passes fields and copses of oak and rhododendrons, then continues strolling towards Tilje Village. O/N Guest house

Day 14.13, Tilje to Kathmandu - 1hrs walk, 7/8hrs drive, 1050m

Tilje to Dharapani 1 hour walk and we will take a jeep from Dharapani back to Kathmandu. We drive to Besisahar, the edge of Marshyangdi river, and join mugling Prithvi highway towards Kathmandu, O/N Same hotel with BB

Day 15. Kathmandu - Free day

You can walk on streets and buy souvenir, come back to the hotel, and manage your luggage, O/N same hotel,

Day 16. Final Departure - to Kathmandu International airport

From your hotel we drop you to airport by our private vehicle according to your flight schedule.
