Prepare Before going to Nepal with personal equipment & Medical Kit!

Even if you are not health conscious, you’d better consult your doctor and pharmacists for necessary brands and medications. Because the medical institution or treatment you find in your country may not be available here just like the medicine. The brand you can take for a type of illness, Make lists of drugs and medical equipment. Medicines including Aspirin to prevent pain in case of fever, anti-flu tablets for nasal decongestants, Multivitamins for a longer trip, An antihistamine for allergies, antibiotics especially when traveling off the beaten track , anti-inflammatories for muscle pain, medicines for diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Rehydration to prevent dehydration, Insect repellent, sunscreen, lip balm and eye drops, Antifungal cream, Dressings, (plasters) and other dressings, water purification tablets, Scissors, Tweezers and thermometer, Sterile kit in case you need injections in a country with medical hygiene problems. Likewise it is best to have the necessary vaccinations before visiting Nepal, although there is a rare risk of serious illness, Should you suffer from it.
Bring at least a few passport sized photos and some Nepali money for visa on application at the airport and border post, As well as trekking permits and trekking information management system maps which are necessary during your trekking in Himalayas.

You should be sufficiently aware and prepared for the necessary trekking equipment, it will many items can be obtained, purchased or hired, but may not be as original or durable as those in your country. Clothes
Hiking boots, hat (warm) scarf and gloves, waterproof jacket, umbrella, pants, running shoes, sandals or flip flops, shorts and pants or skirt, thermal underwear, sun hat, fleece jacket, T-shirt– 2 or 3 and a long-sleeved shirt with collar and so on.

Equipment
backpack, sleeping bag and silk liner, maps, compass and guidebook, water bottle, torch – flashlight, spare batteries, sports bag – if you have a porter.

camping hike
Trowel, if there is no toilet tent, sleeping mat, cooking, eating and drinking utensils, dishes, stove with windscreen and maintenance kit and fuel, tent, etc.

Various objects
Toiletries, quick dry camp towel, toilet paper, cigarette lighter, sunscreen, polarizing sunglasses, pocket knife, iodine, water purification tablets, medical and first aid kit, insect repellent, kit kit including whistle and waterproof matches, candle, etc.

High altitude areas above 4000m
If you are going to do trekking in high altitude areas, you had better take extra equipment such as thermal underwear, wool hat, gloves, gaiters, down jacket or down vest, etc.
