Prices can vary greatly depending on where you are staying, either a star hotel, or a simple budget hotel, or the period of your stay. You can pay anywhere from a few dollars per night at trekking lodges to nearly US$500 in Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara or Everest region.

Accommodation facilities are available in all parts of the country including the high hills, mountains and the Terai. Majority of the trekking routes have lodges or teahouses to accommodate tourists, whereas if you are traveling off the beaten track there are no hotels and lodges available hence you have to manage the tent, alternative means could be adapted in the village areas. Especially in spring and autumn, hotels are overbooked, It is even sometimes difficult to find the rooms. Therefore, we ask that you book well in advance.

Most places have a range of rooms, from budget, shared bathroom boxes to private bathrooms with A/C and TVs. Single rooms are usually double rooms offered between half and two thirds of the total price. Hotels and bed and breakfasts accept reservations, and reservations are often necessary during busy seasons, during local festivals, or if you are arriving late at night.?
